The goal of this training is to introduce medical directors to the SAFER Lines program for central line-associated bloodstream infection (CLABSI) prevention and standardized line care in nursing homes.
Learning Objectives:
- Discuss the rationale for CLABSI prevention programs in the nursing home.
- Describe the evidence for the SAFER Lines Program to improve central line care in nursing homes.
- Explain the steps to implement the SAFER Lines Program.
