More of a Good Thing: Trauma-Informed Care for Staff in PALTC Settings (August 2022)

Building on the success of the evidence-based 4Ms Framework for Age-Friendly Health Systems, 'More of a Good Thing' focuses on enhancing staff well-being. In 2022, the association hosted six virtual roundtable discussions centered around the 4Ms for Staff: What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility. These discussions provided practical steps for PALTC leadership to foster trust, improve culture, and attract new staff. 

JoAnne Reifsnyder, PhD, MSN, MBA, FAAN (Moderator)

JoAnne Reifsnyder is a seasoned nurse executive with more than 35 years of experience in clinical practice, administration, consulting, education and research. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in psychosocial oncology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and holds a PhD in nursing from the University of Maryland, a Master’s Degree in nursing from Thomas Jefferson University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from George Washington University.
